Ashten's has been chosen as a finalist for Best Dish NC which is a
contest sponsored by the North Carolina Department of
Agriculture. Ashten's, along with some other great North Carolina
restaurants will compete throughout the summer to claim the honor of
serving the best dish in North Carolina. We entered in 5 categories
utilizing as much local produce, meat, eggs and cheeses as possible. We
even have a glaze for our Cane Creek Farm free range pork tenderloin
made with North Carolina's own soda, Cheerwine! Check out our menu in
May for all the dishes we entered. We think they are all winners!

All Chicken at Ashten's is either from Springer Mountain Farms and is
100% all natural and certified humane or locally pasture raised at
Council Farms. All our seafood is from sustainable and environmentally responsible sources. Plus we use local produce when available!
